• exiftags v1.01
  A program to extract Exif properties from a JPEG image produced by a digital camera. Supports most standard Exif 2.21 tags and a portion of the maker notes for Asahi (Pentax), Canon, Casio, Fuji, Leica, Minolta, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, and Sayno cameras. Send me images from other camera types and I'll try to add support. I'd love to hear about any successes or failures you have with this software.

• photoweb v3.0
  A simple script to produce thumbnails and an HTML index of JPEG files -- it doesn't need any fancy server support (e.g., CGI, PHP). The script is based on work by Phil Wherry and requires the cjpeg and djpeg utilities distributed with the Independent JPEG Group's free JPEG software (FreeBSD: /usr/ports/graphics/jpeg), my exiftags utility, and WWWis. An example of the output: the Pentagon (captions.txt).
